Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up through a third-party service (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that service.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including meeting duration, features used, device type, browser type, IP address, and general location (country/region).

Meeting Content: Audio, video, and screen-sharing streams are transmitted through our infrastructure. By default, meetings are not recorded unless you or a host explicitly enables recording.

Communications: If you contact our support team, we retain those communications to help resolve your issue and improve our service.

Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your language preference, and analyse platform performance. See Section 6 for more details.

Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to handle data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of any person or to address fraud or security issues.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

With Your Consent: We may share your data with third parties when you have explicitly given us permission to do so.

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with services.

Meeting metadata (such as timestamps and participant counts) is retained for up to 12 months for analytics purposes.

Recorded meetings are stored for the duration specified in your plan and are deleted upon account closure unless you export them first.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal data ('right to be forgotten').

Portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection / Restriction: You can object to or request restriction of certain processing activities.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use cookies and browser localStorage to store your language and country preferences so your selection persists across visits.

A cross-site language cookie (cenivo_locale) with domain .cenivo.com is set when you choose a language. This allows both cenivo.com and app.cenivo.com to honour the same language selection seamlessly.

You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will reset your language preference to your browser's default language.

We also use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used. You can opt out of analytics tracking via our cookie preference centre.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, end-to-end encryption for meeting streams, and regular security audits.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the platform at your own risk.

Cenivo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page.

For material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of Cenivo after any changes constitute your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
